[Organo Gold News] Coffee Test Introduction

Organo Gold News has posted a new item, 'Coffee Test Introduction'


Coffee testing is fun. If you are like me then you love experimenting with
coffee. There are so many different aspects to coffee preparation that play a
role in how it tastes in the mug at the end of the process. Much like the Coffee
Reviews, Coffee Tests are going to become a staple here on Coffee Cup News. When
I say coffee test ( or experiment) that is exactly what I mean, we going to play
around with everything: brew style, grind setting, water temperature,
proportion, filters, agitation, pressure, etc. This process isnt just about me
either its about all of us experimenting with coffee and finding the result
which each individual finds the more enjoyable. As we go on this journey please
feel free to jump in, give advice, critic my style and even create your own
content showing us how you brew.

Coffee Test : Chemex
For our first official (weve done obviously done other tests) test video we are
going take a look at the Chemex with an Able KONE filter. The specifics on
grind, water and tools I used it listed below.
Coffee Tools

Brew Method: CHEMEX

Filter: Able Brewing KONE

Scale: OXO Scale

Grinder: Rancilio Rocky

Kettle: BUONO


Preparation

Grind Setting: 47
Coffee: 21 grams
Water: 12 ounces
Temp: 195 degrees
Water Flow: Pulse Brew
